Discovering Restraint and Resonance

With this third Oto Sui sound study, something important began to reveal itself.

After the previous session, I found myself gradually adding more layers into the setup — additional pedals, more processing, more atmospheric treatment — and while parts of that felt exciting, I also started to feel the core relationship between the piano and the Resonant Garden becoming slightly obscured.

The Starting Point - Testing The theory

This first sound study sits at the very beginning of the Oto Sui project, not as a finished composition, but as a way of feeling into what the work might become.
